WAS THE RESISTOR BLOCK UP UNDER THE GLOVE BOX AND THAT WAS IN EXPENSIVE AS WELL (2 SCREWS). ALSO HAD A THING WITH MY FAN ONLY WORKING ON LOW OR HIGH NOT IN THE INTERMEDIATE SETTINGS. U NEED TO HAVE THE DEALER CLEAR THE CODES AND THEY CAN DO IT FOR YOU. HEY ME - HAD THE SAME THING GOING ON WITH THE CTM AND ONCE REPLACED THE REMOTE LOCKS WOULDN'T WORK. I bought mine from Mike Lynch Ford Lincoln Mercury Jeep in Michigan. I'll shop around also but heck, if needed I'll just call up your place!!
So I shopped around.ĭo you happen to have the name of the jeep dealer you got the CTM through? I called a local Dodge Dealer and they wanted $169.00. I bought it through a Jeep Dealer, but they can get Dodge Parts. Does anyone know the correct procedure to reprogram the Remote Locks to work or should I take it to the DEALER? I tried the reprogram method given to me but that didn't work. I put in a new CTM this morning, and now my Remote Door Locks don't work. I ordered a CTM from my local Dodge Dealer this morning for $104 dollars + tax.

My symptom is always the drivers side light out and the drivers side door doesn't work (keyless or on the door)īattery drain may be a different issue but I bet all these electrical issues stem from common problems. The CTM controls the body lights, power locks, etc I have had my 02 Dakota at 4 different shops and nobody can find anything wrong.

If this part is going bad would it cause the battery to drain and go dead? I have been having a problem with battery drain, power seats working intermitantly, power windows only working half the time and the dash light flickering. What does the Central Timing Module or Body Control Module Control? I am curious.

I called up and, big shocker, has a 12 month warranty on it. Anyone know where I can buy a Central Timing Module for an 01 QC 5.9L Dakota? Had mine replaced at " my local 5 star dealer" 13 months ago.
